Management takeover (MBO/MBI)
DMC’s professionals have been involved in a number of transactions in which the existing management acquired the company in full or in part (Management Buy-Out/MBO), or in which a new external management acquired ownership of the company (Management Buy-In/MBI).
In the years to come many companies will be facing a change of ownership or a successional change. Structuring an MBO or MBI might be interesting alternatives to an industrial sale. Often an MBO or MBI is undertaken in cooperation with financial investors, including private equity investors.
